Acceptance of Terms

By using Yafika Mobile Money Limited's services, including the Bevura mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Our Services

Yafika Mobile Money Limited, licensed and regulated by the Bank of Zambia (License No. 06/PSB/2024) and a direct participant in the National Financial Switch, provides mobile financial services including but not limited to: money transfers to banks and mobile wallets, mobile top-ups, bill payments, village banking (Baobab), group contributions (Tisonke), merchant payment solutions (Yafika Merchant), and virtual/physical card services through the Bevura application, as well as enterprise products such as payment gateways, bulk payouts, and APIs.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for: providing accurate and complete information during registration, maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, all activities that occur under their account, ensuring they have sufficient funds for transactions, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Zambia.

Transaction Limits & Fees

Transaction limits and fees are determined in accordance with Bank of Zambia regulations and Yafika's policies. Current fee schedules are available within the Bevura application. Yafika reserves the right to modify fees with prior notice to users as required by regulatory guidelines.

Account Security

Yafika employs advanced encryption and fraud detection systems to protect your account. Users must immediately report any unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Yafika shall not be liable for losses resulting from user negligence in safeguarding account credentials.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with Yafika, Bevura, Baobab, and Tisonke are the property of Yafika Mobile Money Limited. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

Yafika shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability for any direct damages shall be limited to the amount of the relevant transaction. Yafika is not responsible for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including network outages or force majeure events.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the internal grievance mechanisms of Yafika Mobile Money Limited. If unresolved, matters may be escalated to the Bank of Zambia or resolved through arbitration in accordance with Zambian law.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia and all applicable regulations issued by the Bank of Zambia pertaining to payment system businesses.
